Vayu First Order Discount: setup guide
An automatic discount on a customer's first order. No code to type.
1. Install and open the app
- Install the app from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions.
- Open it from Apps in your Shopify admin.
2. Set up the discount
- Choose the discount (Free: a percentage; Pro: a fixed amount, free shipping, a minimum subtotal, and excluding sale items or collections).
- Click Turn on. The app creates an automatic discount that you can also see under Discounts.
3. Who gets it
Shopify can only tell a first order for customers who are logged in (or otherwise recognised) and have no previous orders. Guests are not included unless you tick Also give it to guests; then returning customers who don't log in get it too.
4. Optional banner
Turn on the First order banner app embed (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, or the app's shortcut button) to tell new customers about the offer.
