Vayu Quick Order Form: setup guide

Works with any Online Store 2.0 theme. No theme code changes are needed.

1. Install and open the app

  1. Install the app from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions.
  2. Open it from Apps in your Shopify admin.

2. Create a quick order page

  1. Create a page template. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. In the page selector at the top of the editor choose Pages → Create template, name it quick-order, keep Based on: Default page and click Create template. (Don't put the form on the Default page template: it would show on every page.)
  2. Add the form. In the app, click Add block to the quick-order template. The theme editor opens that template with the Quick order form block added. Pick a collection in the block settings (or leave it empty for all products) and click Save.
  3. Add the page. Go to Online Store → Pages → Add page. Enter the title Quick order, set Visibility to Visible, set Template to quick-order and click Save.
  4. Link it. Add the page to your menu in Online Store → Navigation.

3. Use it

Shoppers search, type quantities for any number of variants and click Add … items to cart. Sold-out variants can't be added.

4. Pro options

  1. Variant quantity grid block for product pages: every variant in one table with one add-to-cart.
  2. SKU and stock columns, unlimited rows, and showing the form only to logged-in customers with a tag (for example wholesale).

The quick order block can also be added to collection templates, where it lists that collection.
